Privacy Policy

This policy describes how Certified Networks LLC (“we,” “us”) handles information in connection with this estimating and site-survey platform (the “Service”).

1. Information we collect

Account data: name, email, password (stored as a hash), company membership and role. Business content you provide: projects, surveys, estimates, notes, customer and site names, uploaded Site Plan images and company logos. Operational data: logs and metadata needed to run and secure the Service (timestamps, request logs, session cookies). We do not collect data for advertising and we do not sell personal information.

2. How we use it

To provide the Service: computing estimates, storing surveys and Site Plans, generating quotes, sending quote emails you initiate, producing share links you create, and supporting your account. AI-assisted features (such as scope-of-work generation) send the relevant project facts to our AI provider to produce the text you requested.

3. Where it lives

Data is hosted with reputable infrastructure providers: application database (Neon, PostgreSQL), file storage for Site Plans and logos (Backblaze B2), application hosting (Render, Vercel), transactional email (Resend), and AI text generation (Anthropic). These subprocessors handle data only to provide their service to us. If you connect third-party integrations (for example QuickBooks), data flows to that provider under their terms at your direction.

4. Sharing

Content is shared when you choose to share it: quote emails to recipients you enter, and public share links (quotes, surveys) that are accessible to anyone holding the link. Within your company, access follows the roles you assign. We disclose information if required by law.

5. Cookies

We use session cookies for sign-in only — no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

6. Retention and deletion

Business content is retained while your account is active. On account/company termination, we delete content within a reasonable period, subject to backups aging out and legal requirements. You may request deletion or a data export at any time.

7. Security

Access is authenticated and company-scoped; files are stored in private buckets and served through short-lived signed URLs; transport is encrypted (HTTPS). No system is perfectly secure — report concerns to the contact below.

8. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete personal information. Contact us and we will honor applicable requests.
